The Story of Picle

Project Background

Alex Harding had the idea for “Picle” during a bank holiday at the Seaside. We took him back there in this short film about the apps origins. Alex’s easy going charm is reflected in the film as we follow him around Broadstairs where he “picles” the sights and sounds of this quirky little nook on the Kent coast.

 

Picle and this video were the hit of SXSW 2012 where the laid back nature and causal charm of the film helped this innovative app achieve 30,000 downloads in three days.
